Healing Gardens
Wellbeing, as nature intended
We are re-introducing ancient healing remedies by harnessing the power of nature. Our Healing Garden is a reminder that popping pills is not the only way to treat all our ills. For instance, did you know that mint and dandelions can help digestion or that nettles can sooth sore muscles? We are growing an abundance of healing plants in our garden. Why not take a stroll and see for yourself?
NATURE'S GIFT
To us, a healing garden is the togetherness of nature within our garden. There is no one focal point for healing. It’s how we interact with nature that increases our sense of wonder and creativity. This interaction can be sitting under one of our many trees, listening to song birds or foraging in our 10 acres of woodland and gardens.
Infusing every meal
We often forget that some of tastiest and healthiest nibbles are found under our noses in the way of a nettle, wild garlic, elder or hawthorn. At Rufflets we strive to forage within our 10 acres, local fields, woodlands and seashores. There are so many more edible species than you would think, and well-tried Scottish recipes, from nettle haggis to gooseberry and elderflower jam.
We believe our visitors constant healing interaction with our natural surroundings adds to the Rufflets embrace of health and happiness.
